Just a little update...

Praise the Lord, we are no longer unemployed!

Steve has taken a full-time position with ProTel doing telemarketing for AT&T.  He will also begin working nights part-time for Dillon's supermarket doing janitorial work.  

All good things come from above!

A thank you also to all of you who have been faithfully praying for us to find steady work.

Have you ever watched the movie "It's a Wonderful Life"?  Do you remember the characters Mr. Potter and George Bailey?  We have found ourselves speaking of the bank that held our mortgage as that "warped, frustrated old bank".  (And yes, we say it in our best Jimmy Stuart voices!)

Welcome to Gretchen and T-Bone

Jacob and Jordy went in together and bought the family a younger milk cow.  She came with her 3 month old bull calf.  We named her Gretchen.

Father's Day Circus!

The kids all came up with a delightfully entertaining tradition...a yearly circus production put on in honor of their daddy!

Bittersweet Goodbyes

The day that seemed so far away in the future has finally arrived...our babies have left the nest.

I console myself that at least they haven't flown the coop!

I keep thinking and saying things that make me feel old.  Things like, "My, how time flies!"
