I am loving my Canon Rebel T3i!!

Making memories is important to me.

I agree with the saying that a picture is worth a thousand words.  Making memories with pictures has been priceless to this mother.  I am just so thoroughly enamored with our new camera that I can't help sharing how happy we are with it and what we love about it and how excited we are to keep learning and upgrading.

Upgrading to our new Canon Rebel T3i has made making priceless memories so very easy and tremendously satisfying!

I really appreciate that we can effortlessly take pictures that look vibrantly amazing!

I love snatching up the camera to catch a fleeting moment and being able to effortlessly capture it with such wonderful quality!

It is so simple to use that even the children have been having fun taking pictures of all the details of their world around them.

From snapshots of picturesque clouds

and sunsets

to capturing super delicious foodie photos of their gourmet creations

and beverages!

See how much fun we are having?  We are taking photographs of everything around us and having a gay old time doing it, too!

I love that we can take very good quality photographs of insects and bugs and plantlife and study it closely, identify it and then use those photographs in our Nature Study Journals.

Can't you almost smell these gorgeous blossoms?

We have been wanting to get a Rebel for many years so it was a big day for us when we finally held it in our hands.  We splurged and got this huge 32gb memory card to hold all of our photos and videos and it makes downloading my pictures super easy, even for me!  I usually would have my tech savvy boys pull pictures off the camera and load them onto the computer for me, but it is so easy to use, I do it all by myself now.

We decided to get this UV Filter to put over the actual lens so that it protects the expensive lens and should anything scratch the UV lens, it will be much easier and economical to replace.

We also got a handy LensPen for keeping the lens clean.

We got one special lens for playing around with and experimenting, the Diffusion Filter.  It makes everything but the subject blurry and out of focus.

On my list for future purchases to be saving up for are the Portrait Lens for taking fabulous portraits of all of the adorable Hakelings, the Telephoto Zoom Lens for taking even more detailed close up photos of our food, mystery plants and unfortunate buggies who wander across our path, oh, yeah, and for zoom power for far away shots, and then after adding those lenses, we will need this bigger camera bag to hold it all in.  For now, our old camera bag is working, but it will be fun outgrowing it over the years as we enjoy the ease of great, easy, dummy-proof fabulous photography!

Maybe if you have been toying around with the idea of getting a new camera this blog post will prove helpful to you but either way I hope you enjoy seeing all the pictures we are enjoying taking!
